John Robert Leman Church

Miranda sent me photos of a cut throat razor her father brought back from the Far East as she would like to get in touch with family members of Australian John Robert Leman Church, its original owner.

A big thank you to Miranda for sending her fathers cuttings and papers.

Had a quick look as we were just out of the door.

What a collection !!!

It will take time to sift through them but will definitely provide more pieces of the jig saw.

Maros Maru

Now over half way with compiling information for the Maros Maru.

The ages of those who died is terrible, many not having the chance to live an adult life. All those dreams of things to do in years to come, fading then disappearing with their last breath, very sad.

Will have to read ‘Prisoner Doctor’ again by Richard Philips. It must of been terrible for him, doing his best to treat the sick but seeing death all around him.
