The Friendship

I added ‘The Friendship of Mickey and Spooner’ near the beginning of Lockdown into the Far Eastern Heroes.

Tony Banham sent me Bill Spooner’s article ‘Mickey Myles Had Many Faces’ but with the increase in families asking to add to the Roll of Honour, it got put to one side until I had more time.

I made that time today and enjoyed adding and reading it.

I hope you all will to, the centre piece of the story is the their friendship and surviving the Lisbon Maru sinking.

My sincere thanks to Tony Banham
